BP used to be the place people avoided because of the LRT jokes (you know the ones). But real talk — the Downtown Line changed everything. Now you can get to the CBD direct, no transfer needed. Hillion Mall next to the MRT is the main spot — compact but useful. Junction 10 is nearby for more options. The biggest flex here is nature: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Dairy Farm Nature Park, and Zhenghua Park are all walkable. Schools like CHIJ Our Lady of Good Counsel and Zhenghua Primary serve the families well. The DTL connection is genuinely the best thing that happened to BP.
BP is still one of the more affordable West options, which is partly why young couples love it. 4-room flats range from about $380k to $530k. Near the MRT you'll pay closer to $500k+, but head out along the LRT and you can find decent deals under $420k. The DTL premium has narrowed the gap with Bukit Batok, but it's still cheaper overall.
